Heres Some Pics of G2 gold Calipers!w/ new RSM rotors &
I havent did the drums yet. Seems i have a problem with one of my calipers, one of the mounting bolts doesnt tighten. it screws the way in but just keeps turning. so i am saving the second half of the paint just incase i have to get a new caliper. Hopefully the dealer can either give me a new bolt or mounting bracket.
Its been pouring like a cow peein on a flat rock here all day so i havent even got a chance to season the rotors yet. :(

thanks!!
I had to do something to continue the gold theme being that the pinstripes are worn off so the only thing gold is the hood emblem & the badges.

Lookgin' good! I got the same car and it'* givin me a few good ideas for mine now. I always thought about painting the calipers but wasn't sure how it would look. How much did those rims and tires cost? I'm looking to get something new pretty soon and those look nice.

YEs, i was going to paint the drum covers today but after the caliper issue im going to save teh pant incase i need a new one. I have gold 500 Degree spray paint, i might try that on the drums or i might get another thing of gold caliper paint but its nt easy to find! I had to go to ebay. EVERYONE is out of gold caliper paint, eta 6/30 :?
Thanks much Bonnealien! green wouldnt look right uniess it was an exact match for your car. Waht color is your pinstripe and badges? Red would look good against green i think...
well, im off to my sons' cubscout ceremonies, he moves up to 'Wolf' today. Thats a big day for us, now we dont have to accompany him to the stinkin meetings all the time!

Hey Nytro,
That LOOKS PHATTTT!!!! Damn, I wish I still had my old AR Speedstars or could afford some new rims. Your car has to be in the top three for the best looking Bonneville. I'd kill for one that nice. Keep up the modding and it might be you who get'* taken out by me. :P
If you are loking to get a little gold back try painting the edge of the cornering lights gold instead of the current black.
Alien, You should paint your calipers and drums grey/silver to match the rims.
I am going to see if I can pick up some 1996-newer SE or SSE rocker panels mouldings. Then I am going to paint them the bronze gold like 1998-newer Bonnie'*, and paint the bottom 3 inches of the front and rear bumpers the same. On the rear bumper though I'd follow the body lines up and around the license plate.
What do ya think? Will that look ok with the rest of the car green and with the gold rims, pin-striping and emblems?
