Lets see here. If you go by those technicalities, then that car you posted is his too, as his name is on the title, is licensed to him, and his name and money go to the insurance. However, I do all maintenance both cars, and take care of them (wash, wax, clean, etc.), and as such I can drive it as long as he isn't, and doesn't need it. It is "his" car, but it'* my car too.

I wash and maintain my neighbors car and my name isn't on the title. I even drive it occasionally, but it'* not mine nor do I call it mine. You can split hairs all you want. You don't OWN it and its not YOURS...by all legal definitions and you can't claim it'* "Mine" or "My".

Next time maybe you should name the thread - "Here'* the GXP I Maintain, and Get to Drive Occasionally". There'* nothing wrong with that and I bet you'd get'* lot'* more appreciation and lots of questions about who you are, why you like to maintain cars, what else do you maintain on the farm, what are your plans after school, etc.
