Ya I rarely take a photo that is level. Angles just make them pop a lot more. Depending on the background I will take some level photos, however on average I take about 60 photos and then have 5-10 good ones that I go ahead and keep and spend the time to give the finishing touches to.

I think the pictures I posted above I took close to 60-70 pictures between the two times I went to that location one around 5:30pm or so, and another around 7:00-7:30 pm. And basically my first shoot was a waste because even the photos I did keep have the damn shadow from the light post in the pictures and I didn't realize that when I was taking them for some reason...learned my lesson that is for sure.

Keep in mind also that the lighting makes a HUGE difference in photos. Taking them in the middle of the day just isn't smart. I did a shoot the day after at around 4:00 at the same location and none of them were worth keeping. The colors of the vehicle/surrounds just don't come out when you have such high intensity sunlight. The best time to take photos of vehicles is within 3 hours of sunrise and 3 hours of sunset. These types of light bring out the line/curves of the car and you get more reflection/deeper color.

If you take them during mid day you want to try to avoid direct sunlight, or at anytime for that matter. Also taking having a concrete/lighter colored surface vs. an asphalt/dark surface when taking pictures really helps them turn out better and brings out the reflections/colors of the car better. It has taken me a few years to learn different things, but compared to the pictures I took 2-3 years ago, they don't even compare!

I also just have a basic $200 digital camera. I would love to get some nice equipment so I can take better pictures, but even with a decent digital camera you can still take good photos if you know what you are doing.

Here are some shots I figured I would share with all of you

They are from some other shoots of my past vehicles I have done from more recent and older.. you can kind of see how some of the pictures are a bit better than others, as the newer they are the better I have become at taking pictures:

Don't know why anyone would hate you for that lol. I like my bonneville too, but it isn't a car I drool over. For me It'* good looking, stylish, comfortable transportation.

Now when it comes to the fun cars.. thats where the Chevelle and Camaro come in

Unfortunately the Chevelle was sold a few weeks ago I loved that car.

We had the car for about 5 years and did everything from an entire new interior all the way to an entire new drivetrain inlcuding a 4speed auto with overdrive swap into so it could be driven on highway trips and still manage 15mpg. It was built to be driven and enjoyed, yet still be a car to take to shows. Definately the most powerful car I have driven, and I have owned several bolt-on LS1 and LT1 cars but they did not even come close to the raw power that car had..nor the perma grin it put on your face when driving it. The car was putting out around 450hp and would leave black lines on the road in every gear but 4th It was a scary car if you didn't know how to control it lol.

Oh how I will miss it

Looks good, Very Clean SSEi. I like the Red Calipers through the Chrome wheels. I did this to my Black SSEI with the Chrome Wheels, looks great. Also did you add A HID kit to your headlights?

Thanks! Yes I did convert my headlights to HID'*. they are 6000k temp. I had them in my Trailblazer before but took them out before I traded it so I could put them in the Bonne. After having HID'* (even non factory ones like these) regular Halogen headlights just don't cut it anymore!

Thumbs up Very Nice looking SSEi

After seeing your 6000K HID'* i think i am going to switch back from the 8000K I am running to the 6000K. (6000K look better and have better light output)

Your car takes a great photo- Very Nice!

Thanks man I appreciate it!

And I agree, the 8000k are just a tad to blue for my liking, the 6000k have just a slight blue tint to them but on the road the light looks almost illuminated in pure white, plus there is more light output like you said which is always a plus.

Also being aftermarket HID'* aren't "legal" (although sooo many cars on the roads have them these days) I was told by a friend that cops will only hassle you if the color is really blue/purple etc.. and that to test them they hold a piece of white paper in front of the light and if it is not white light then you might have a problem.. with these the light looks pretty damn white on a white surface (such as garage wall or paper) whereas 8000k definately looks blue. just another reason to go with the 6000k over the 8000k.
