My parts car was IDENTICAL in every way except had gold pinstripes. I still need to remove them though. Even all the option codes were the same. I had to paint the hood and bumper, they had some bad spots in them.
Man, I had completely forgot how much people look at this car!!!! I washed it up the other day (after this post) and went to the store. I parked next to a 96 or 97 Bonneville SE green in color, a little dirty. When I walked out of the store, there was a women putting some bags in her Bonnie and could not keep her eyes off of mine
. On the drive home, just about every car I passed rubbernecked my car.. Then, later that day, I drove it to work. When I got out at 7:00 am I had like 5 or 6 people looking at it complimenting me on how good it looks. I even got some comments last night and didn't even drive it in
All these looks and compliments even with the broken windshield and no passenger mirror, sure, some looks were just for that reason, but I think many were because of the overall appearance of the car.
ahhhhhhh, soooooo nice to be driving the Bonneville again. This car will turn to dust before I ever get rid of it.
There is MUCH more to come... detailed, stereo install, clear corners, tinted and cleared tails, and more!!
