My moms 86 Monte is really bad. The volt meter doesn't move, but when the bass hits her headlights and interior lights dim. The only thing she has is an 8" bass tube in the truck wired directly to the 6x9s in the rear deck.

Back in my audio days, we had a guy come through with a chevy blazer that had to keep the RPM'* above 4000 to keep his system from cutting out due to low voltage. He also had (2) 1000Watt RMS amps pushing (4) Alpine X-Type Subs.
