Ok, so maybe it'* not completely gutted, but it is fairly empty. I stripped it down so I could lay some sound deadening. I also hit the fenders and inside the front doors.

Left Trunk

Right Trunk

Sound deadening

Almost done here (While I was in there I ripped out the on-star module and monsoon amp)

It is quite spacious without those seats, which by the way are HEAVY.

I have a few more if anyone'* interested. I turned it over to the pros after I got this done for some fiber glassing and other fun stuff but they ran into time constraints, so that'* going to have to get finished later. It'* so nice to have it back after roughly 2 months, the 2 hour drive home flew by. Now it'* back to the engine.

Thanks. It really wasn't that bad doing the trunk, but I do suggest doing it on a nice warm day, where you can leave the pieces out in the sun to become a little easier to move. Also, a wooden roller would be much preferable to the little plastic roller I had.

I know! I feel like a kid the night before Christmas, even have the snow to complete the feeling.

I'm hoping to take it to a few shows once I get the cosmetics done.

Yah seats are a pain, they don't fit out the doors very well either which makes the job really hard to be standing hunched over the the car trying to manuver a seat through the small opening of the door

I get the seats out by folding them all the way forward, then they come out a bit easier.

I thought about that, but it wasn't looking like it would work. I don't know if the older seats are perhaps a little smaller. I wonder if folding it all the way back might have helped though.. It would have been a straight pull instead of hooking around. Unfortunately even Bonneville electric seats don't move when they are unplugged :P.
