D'oh!! Forgot to tell you about that! Just before I left home, I pulled the hood release, and the cable broke right there. As for the hood release, you need to adjust the height of the latch. I've been trying to get that thing right. It seems that when I set it, and it'* working fine, I think it drops a tad. So it need to come up, then tightened really well. Oh, and once you hear it pop, pull up on it. She'll let go.
