Gremlins are nasty little things aren't they.
Anyway, I finally pulled that light out of the passenger side. I think the wires are 20 gauge though, not 16 like expected. The 16 gauge wire stripper just chewed on em, 18 didn't do much more. :? I just gotta get a replacement now, Pontiac wants $91 for a new grab handle. :( But hey, I can now run the defroster, headlights, AND a blinker at the same time. Thanks for all the help guys, this trully is a great board with awesome members. FYI, I hated my Bonneville when I bought it. I was forced into it and couldn't wait to sell it and run with the money. Thanks for changing my views.

Glad to hear you got the car back in working condition.

If you have tan interior let me know -I'll ship you a grab handle for the cost of shipping ($3.85 for USPS Priority although regular shipping would get to you just as fast considering you are still in the same state).
PM me and we'll discount you $87.15 for that grab handle.

This is REALLY starting to **** the hell outta me. I hate this car. POS died again. I was pulling into Hollywood Video, my friends pulling in behind me and all of a sudden the whole car smells like burning plastic the gauges go dim, the voltmeter plunges down below 5, and finally it just dies. Of course it couldn't do this when I was in a parking spot, no, It had to do this in the middle of the entrance and block all traffic. So, I have to rip apart the HVAC system and see if there'* a short in there. The grab handle was damaged and the wires were bad, but that wasn't causing the short. I still need the grab handle, and unfortunately the interior is slate gray. Until I can get it running, I ride public transportation.
I am really starting to hate this car.

Nope. Turn the key, nothing. Not even a solenoid click. Dunno what else to say about it. I'll take a look at it whenever I get the time.
I hooked it up to a quick charge, then changed it over to a battery tender. No point in taking it to Pontiac, they can't figure it out either.

Its not the battery. My dad and I both did a load test on the battery, it was perfect every time. Pontiac tested it, it rang up fine with them as well.
The charge got it running again and it was fine when I went to work, gas station and home. I'm only taking apart the HVAC becuase it was the main suspect last time it died. In all fairness it could be a problem with my head lights or a turn signal. . . or even the braking system. I don't know enough about this car to say one is more likely than the other. :(
