The Great Swap ....DONE!!!!!!! Pics added (pg 2)
so i have started the swap of the locking gas door, ELC, FE2 and the HUD yesterday. started at 7 in the am and stopped working at 9pm..... got lots done but still not even close to done..lol
list of things done
Gas door lock wired in
rear FE2 springs installed
rear FE2 sway bar installed
rear air assist struts installed
ELC inflator timer relay that selector valve mounted
ELC height adjustment arm mounted
seats removed
dash removed
ya it was busy

Note. This endlink WAS NOT broken the bolt snapped on removal

little note about the rear springs, i really looked closely at the springs before i put them on, the coil diameter was exactly the same...now it gets interesting....there were 8 coils that made up the FE1 but only 7 that mnade up the FE2......both of my springs measured in at 15mm

The rear coil springs from the SSEi have roughly a 1200lb load rating as opposed to the 860 of the FE1 spring...
The SSEi spring also has a 10.5 " install heigth if memory serves...
Either way all of these items you will install will turn the SLE into a handler
