update
took the car to progressive today and i will just say they can burn in hell. tried telling me that my car had such extensive rust that they werent going to cover it since if it wasnt that way nothing would be bent then had the audacity to had me a estimate of $500. after cussing them out for about a hour and them trying to tell me that my car has been repainted when we have owned it almost since new lol. but after enough fighting i finally got them to agree to let me take it to a shop and get me a rental
so the car should be done in a week

Had my fill with Progressive and recently switched to Nationwide. Same independent Agent who tells me they are alot easier to dal with. I'm hoping I won't have the need to.

progressive called they are covering up to 1250 so that means the bumper has to be reconditioned instead of new. oh well
the shop is pushing for wednesday and as late as friday

also if you want a laugh here is the reason i got as much out of them as i did is i lost it and the adjuster though i was going to kill him lol
after telling me nothing was going to be covered. he also said i was lying about how bad the accident was he said any impact would have put a hole in the bumper. well i lost it and closed my fist and punched the bumper on my car as hard as i could and screamed back and at him "i dont see a F ing hole"
after that he gave me a rental (after they said i was to young to get one )and let me take the car to this shop
