Has anyone tried the Silverstar 880ST for their stock fog lamps yet?
I've be pondering between:
1) leaving them stock
2) Upgrading them to 880ST for brighter light
3) Trying to fit in those 'angel eyes'
I'm trying to figure out which of these is going to give me enough of an increase. I've already learned my lesson on my last bonneville...stuffing the higher wattage 893'* only works for a while, before the plastic lens starts to deteriorate from the extra heat. So that choice is out.
Are the 880ST'* enought of an increase to justify the cost?

How bad is the install for the Angeleyes? Is it a 'Never go back' choice, because you end up cutting the sh*t out of the existing fog lamp brackets and existing wiring?

I would recomend the angle eyes just on the fact of way more light output than the stock 880. I'm sure the silverstars are slightly brighter but aftermarket 55w bulbs will be WAY brighter, ie. angle eyes, blazertechs, naviagators.

Oh ya the reason why I posted here. I just received my siverstar H-3 bulbs for my Angle eyes, the stock bulb is way bright, I just want the color to match my SS headlights. There going in this weekend, let you know the difference. I choose this route over getting the 880ST'* and calling it a day. No regrets either very happy with the light output, and the EYE just looks so nice!
