The 2000+ Bonnevilles have some of the best crash records and safety ratings around! definitely a safe car to be in

Take it easy, i know that when my dad was rearended in my buick at 45 he walked away fine til a week later he couldnt get outta bed!

Its always sad to see another Bonnie taken off the road because of someone else!

I was rearended in a 94 Buick Roadmaster. I have permanent and partial paralysis in my left leg. The symptoms didn't appear until about 2 weeks after the accident, even though I walked away.

Surgery and rehab were BRUTAL.

Glad you walked away from that!!
These cars are amazing in accidents, VERY strong and VERY well built, safety WAS a factor for me when I bought another Bonneville after my old 93 got wrote off, another hard hit.

Seems you and I have the same nasty habit.......... stopping at red lights

Glad to hear you're ok... so far.

Statistically they say the more you drive the higher the chances of you having an accident... well DUH. They also say you get in the most accidents with 25 miles of your home.... I got hit on the same road twice inside of a year... so I bought a house just off that road.

Again glad to hear you're ok.

Thank you all so much for caring thoughts.I am so thankful to be here and sharing my accident makes me feel a little better.I miss her.I now have a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix SE bright red with a 3.1 Liter. Not to shabby on get up and go but nothing like the Bonnie though..I miss the leather interior.Truth be known I am still a little hesitant to drive.I hope that goes away in time. But thank you all so much for caring it is so great to talk to all of you..You have made me feel so much better..I can't thank you enough
