Today is the day we decided to get the cars ready for the car show this weekend. First I started out with my new hood. Needed to do a little wet sanding to clean it up. Still needs more work but looks a little better.


Got a few items out and ready to go.


After a lot of polishing it cleaned up rather good. Still a few rough spots, but I think I can wet sand that a bit more at another time.




Chris showed up with his GTX and got to the clay bar. His car needed a lot of work. I washed mine while he worked on his.


Here they are all cleaned up. Now, if we can only keep them clean until Sunday.

Both of the ladies are looking lovely. I really like those wheels on the GP. Your hood turned out really nice, looks mean.

That'* the tread pattern of those tires. Those are drag radials. Mostly a slick with just enough tread to be street legal.

Slicks are nice, until you try turning a corner.

Whatz the matter with taking them corners sideways?
Hood is very agressive. Ought to cool things down. From the pics it looks like a nice color match.

The paint on the hood is just a tad darker. Nothing the average person would even notice. Pictures don't show this.
