Yup. My hours at work are getting extemely short (down in the 2x hrs a week) and the way things are looking I won't be back into the 40 hr/week range at this job for about 2-3 months. Plus this boss has made everyone quit their part time jobs because "... it'* effecting our performance at this job negatively and if things don't improve actions will be taken up to the point of termination." Honestly, I've never known harder workers and this is the lowest paying job I've had since High school. Hell, I have no clue how I'll make my $375/month payments (ins and loan combined) when I'm only bringing home around $300 every two weeks and I'm spending over $250 just for gas to commute to work alone (31 miles one way). Things just aren't working out all that well so I'm working on getting Ol' blue back into shape and hopefully by the fall she'll become the stripped down racer I've always wanted to turn her into, while I drive a lower mileage SSEi or Regal GS.

I would start looking for a better job. Actually I am doing the same. I guess you shudl never really stop looking for a better job unless you like where you are at.

That'* what I've been doing for the past month. Have had 7 interviews in the past 2 weeks , but no cigar yet. I have begun looking into what I need to do to get enrolled at U of Minnesota/Duluth for Mechanical Engineering. Have wanted to do that for a couple years, but now I really think I have to. College seems to be the only way to go about getting a good paying job -the only places that are hiring now are the little nickel-n-dime jobs which don't quite pay what the cost of living is.
