Default A few pics...

Here are a few pics of my car that I took today. I put in clear corners two days ago and they improved the look greatly. In fact, the whole car appears to be a darker blue color now than it was before. Very strange but true... it was more purple looking with the amber corners in.

It needs a little body work still (see the massive dent :( ), and a fog light, but hopefully soon that will be fixed. Also tinted windows will be coming soon. After all that is done I'll post a lot of really nice pics, but for now...

And he lives 30 minutes from me.

Eric, what part of Salem do you live in? And that dent.......pops-a-dent may get it out, but I may also have a 96-99 SE in a yard here the right color. I'll check my old pics from a couple weeks ago when I took inventory.

You need to get your arse down here so we can swap those fogs for you. Have you called that tint shop yet?

All 92-95 fenders are plastic. They won't dent like that, and are pretty tough. A hard enough hit will break or crack them though.

All 96-99 fenders are steel.

I tried to use a plunger on that dent... somebody here suggested it, but it didn't work. I actually live in Keizer, which is sort of a suburb of salem right to the north of it. I live about 2 minutes away from the I-5 keizer exit, so it sounds like it would be a pretty straight shot to your place Bill.

That would be great if you had that part for the car too, because it also has a paint problem that I am looking to get fixed, but don't know how much that is going to cost me, and how well it will match after all these years. This appears on both sides, and I have no idea why it would have happened:

I was thinking since you said weekends are good that next saturday if you aren't busy I could come down to Albany. Let me know!

I haven't called the tint shop yet because I may have found someone to go with me up to Portland... we'll see.
