Took a few night shots of the Rivi. They're not the greatest, but they turned out O.K. I guess. Also got a cool shot of a cool mileage reading!

EDIT: I've added a poll to this thread. I had an idea after taking some pictures.. it'd be freaking awesome if the outside strip of the taillights lit up for parking lights, and the stock bulbs only lit up for brakes/turn signals. That would be cool as hell IMO. What do you think?

only problem is I'm not so sure how you would get it to do that. Maybe some of that thing neon tubing that a lot of people use in their interiors? :?

You might want to try a ring of led'*?
I think you could remove the piece and drill small holes for the led'*?
The led'* have a ring around them to keep from falling in, a dab of black rtv would keep them there and moisture out.

I"m not sure how wide the strip would be, or how bright, but any light around the perimeter of the tail lights would look bad ***.
