Here is what I got now. Its a cherry bomb muffler that was really cheap. I dont think it sounds that good. I am looking to get a flowmaster 80 SOON. I have the money, and I am tired of this sound. Tell me how you think it sounds, and if you have flowmaster, how much different it will sound after an 80 series. Thanks!

Sound clips are never a "good" representation for true understanding of a muffler sound. Meaning the 80 will not sound the same in person as in a clip you hear.

say to mr cherry bomb.....invest in a Flowmaster, Magnaflow, or a Dynomax muffler. All are accepted as good, with the only difference is Sound.....

OK>>>> I gotta get a dig in here. Just cause theres to much shoulder patting going on :? :o Flow restrictions are bad period. Staight pipes are all the back pressure you need. Flowmasters are for your girlfriends Saturn or what have you. Be a man.... get a Bomb that is as wide inside as your exahst pipe, if your state allows them and let flow force be with you. It will May be uncivilized but when my OEM goes from all the salt here, I'm going with High flow cat, stainless pipe and the biggest straight thru design I can get my hands on. In Red of course. Cause Red really is faster.

LOL LOWRIDER, Been at the lLake bar most of nite.... Thank God it'* opened (and a stumble down a dimly llit hill from my house).... and had a good laff when I read your post. ..I said a "dig" when I posted..... The old man was ribbin ya. .... And I would'nt put Bombs on a build thats gonna end up at twice the purchase price ....... Happy your moving up in the world of exhaust.. But I've had my share of Bombs and as a kid swore by em. Do as you say, and not as I do. ... I think thats like... less is more / more or less.

yeah that thing sounds like a big V8 SUV now...loud, nice, but not quite bonneville. IMO, bonneville'* are supposed to be refined, classy, nice sounding, fast, touring sedans. When you put a really loud muffler on a bonneville, it is kinda gettin in the ricey zone, go with what was previously suggested, makes it sorta quiet, make you look a little more mature, but still has a 3800 GROWL! But remember, do what you want, i'm not the one that will be sounding like a Dodge Ram everytime I accelerate onto the freeway Just kidding.
