have to get myself a borla muffler but cant afford it, ill probably go with magnaflow

yea my borla was 200 shipped, i found a magnaflow for 109. my buddy has a 97 gtp and hasa magnaflow catback and it sounds a bit louder at idle and really loud when he floors it so i'd say go for magnaflow, they are nice.

what size is the stock exhaust size on my car? 2.5,2.25?
so id know which one to buy......

hmm uh are the muffler'* the same set up as my style? mine has a 1 in and 2 out i think they were 2.25

1 in and 1 out, but it is mounted transversly like an f-body, which I think is cool because then it'* tucked up more and out of sight.

the borla muffler on heaths 99 ssei is a 2.5 in and dual 2.5 out, we welded reducers on to the outs to neck it down to a 2 inch to utilize as much as the stock piping as we could.

nope. not really. when im just cruising around you can't really hear it in the car but when i get on it that is a different storey =]
