Default Exhaust tips, random things and one for Haro

First off, this one is for Andrew who kept making fun of my bent control arm.

MUhaha.

New black chrome exhaust tips I picked up at Canadian Tire on sale for $43.99 each. They look great.

Me beside a solstice @ Home Depot. Cell phone camera sucks...it was nice in person.

Me beside what I think was a '93 SSE...twin to Booze'*

A little tip for the tips

Put a goot coat of Rust-o-lem on the inside. It'll help keep them from rusting

I like the look of the black chrome

Love the tips, don't get the first picture but never mind that.

However, the tips looks kinda far out, could they be pushed in a inch or so then they'll be PERFECT!

I love them tips. They look awesome! I am in search of the perfect set for my '93. I am thinking Megs tips. I had a set of those on my mustang and they got tons of compliments. The only thing thats stopping me from ordering them is well $$ of course.

hey captain...I was looking for black chrome tips for my car also. It is the 98 version of yours. They would be perfect on my car. Can you get me the details on the size you selected? Part number etc? were your other ones welded on? did you weld these or just clamp?

I had a bent control arm so my passenger side tire was back about 1" from where it should be. When I posted pictures andrew would point it out all the time...

And yeah, they are a little far out...but thats because my pipes are sticking out the back pretty far. So if I pushed them in a bit the pipe would almost be sticking out the end. That would look bad. I need to get my pipes cut down a little first.

They are universal (well you can't go to huge). My exit pipes are 2.25 and they could accomodate something much larger. Don't know the part number, but they are made by Ractive and they are just called "black chrome exhaust tips". The stockers are clamped I beleive...but one of my old ones just fell off (rust) and I had the muffler back entirely replaced with magnaflow f-body muffler. New ones are just clamped with the hardware included.

Looking good, the tips are awesome. Leave them where they are, they stand out nicely that way.
