Those are metal heat shields that were on the old plugs that i just pulled off, cleaned and re-used. The old plugs said packard on them, were grey with black ends, and had numbers for each cyl... Woulda been nice when i had my wires crossed...

Yeah, I wish I could have reused my boot shields, but my boots on my wires are an odd shape...different from yours. Your boots there look like my stock ones...weird. :?
