The first few miles were ugly as the plating shaved off the faces.
can you expand on that?

Rotors are plated to prevent rust. Designed to shave off by the pads through to the steel.

So, can we hire her next time we need to have brakes done? Might just have to enlist help if I make it out to WCBF '06.

i think it is great that you have her interested and willing to learn. Not many girls would be so into it, atleast from my side of the country. I only know a handful. She'll make some house-husband a really lucky man someday...

Willwren'* daughters will know more than any of the boys by the time they graduate. And rightfully so! Look at their teacher! I would have killed to have had a motorhead for a father...unfortunately, mine changed the tires and checked the oil...that'* about it. My ex-husband could do anything on a car...unfortunately, he had a personality of a pet rock and didn't want to be bothered with teaching me anything. I learned to bite my tongue and pass the tools in silence...

Great job, Pook and Bill.....I am hoping on involving my girls, too.

(BTW, Bill, will she be at WCBF '06? We could always use another "wrencher" during mod day )

Bob, she'll be there, but remember she'll be running the 95. And prepping and pitting it. Hands full.
