When my muffler place saw that the origional was all mandril bent they were preaty impressed. They said they could go 2.5 but they can't mandril bend the tubbing and i would acutally loose flow just cause of the amount of bends in the system. I have no catalytic converter and 4 feet of resonator with a Flowmaster 80series muffler

We need to know all we can. I'm pretty sure the SLE got the bigger exhaust after the SSE was discontinued. That would be 98 for starters? So every SE and SLE from 92-97 should have 2.25", while the others have 2.5"?

I mean your exhaust.....not your.....never mind.
What we really need here is the SE/SLE exhaust diameters for every year from 92-99.
Don't measure at the tips. Measure somewhere between the cat and muffler. I may split this post apart into Performance as this goes.
