Well first I had a K&N filter dropped in and removed the silencer, from that I felt a performace gain especially since I had a dirty stock filter before that. But further gutting it and changing my spark plugs, and other little small things like the ram air has improved my response time. With the wrap around the rad hose and the ram air, my air intake temperature remains at ambient outside air even when its hot in the bay. With the improved time I thought maybe it took me a while to do the mods, that once I got back in the car with a grin of satisfaction, the better performance was only a fragment of my imagination. But one thing I did notice after my mods listed in my signatures, I climb steep hills at 2000 RPM with my pedal in the same spot as if I was on a flat. It was the first car I ever saw that happen in, zero speed droop. SWEET...
And yes, the cherry bomb did get a little annoying, it made the car sound slow, at 2000RPM it sounded like I was lugging a horse load in the rear, and people thought I had the pedal to the metal, it just sounded like a weak old grampa car.
