Normally it'* running 210+ at times.
I was doing as hot as 230F Before I added a Tranny cooler... Now 180F is the norm... after a good highway run I see about 150F.... What was the rating of the cooler... It looks exactly like the one I installed on my 91... The 95'* is a RV + 7000 lbs I think... Its huge...

Nice install...

Dude, you shoulda called me. I woulda liked to see you install that. I don't think the 65s even have a factory cooler.

Noper... They sure don't... They just have that internal unit inside the radiator... The 65'* are more highly controled and a not supposed to have the issues with overheating, but from what we have seen they still do get pretty warm... Fantastic the way you drive( Hard, Yes I do too ) I would reccomend a small cooler at the least

I chose the factory look. We all have the mounting holes for them. GM makes them and they are found on caddy'* and some B'villes etc.

Running side by side with Pat'* 93 SLE (same cooler on his), my temps are about 30-60 degrees cooler at any given time. The 65 does not seem to heat up like the 60'* do.

Yeah the 65'* don't get as hot as the 60-E, but warm enough... I like the temps you see after the cooler Bill...

The 60-E'* get a bit warmer, and 20-30F higher than a 65 E seems normal to me...

The 60( aka THM440-T4 ) gets hotter than that... They have gotten better with the improvements to the transmissions... But heat is still a killer on a trans...

Love the installs everyone

I like both those installs, tranny coolers sure help a lot, especially in this FL heat. My 96 SE SC parts car had one stock, but the tranny was fried, I thought about installing with my swap. Of course I decided not to because BLACK fluid was ran through it, that would kill a new tranny for sure. I'll have to get one of those RV units also :P
