Default death of a regal

Long story short I have been sitting on the 99 hoping to get it to be the race car but after a fateful day when the jack didnt wanna support the car I crawled under and this is what I found.

This was an Ohio car for most of it'* life. After seeing this i started investigating more and I found this

and this on the other side

Those are the strut towers if you cant tell.
So after getting all the little things I could off this is what she looks like now

she will be going to the junkyard and getting crushed. Sad to see another one go but better safe then sorry.

this is the undercarriage on the car that is replacing it... now it will be getting the rubberized undercoating treatment to keep it rust free

Standard W body strut tower rust... aka ..why I sprayed mine super well last fall with undercoating in the strut areas.

She is now in the big junkyard in the sky towed it across town and got more then I expected and on par with what I was quoted 65 miles south.
