Crash Pics
lol ya you do... ive had my baby hit, took it to a couple body shops, told them it was under insurance on the ticket and they got me a $1400 check and it would have only cost me 500 for another bed the same color at a local J.Y.... but i took the money and traded in the truck and put 1200 down and got a newish miata...
tell them its an insurance ticket and they will jack it up, but tell them to try and keep it under 1500 to keep it from getting totalled and if theyre nice they will comply

Well I havent got my check yet, but I did find a junk yard who was willing to find me matching doors. He says theyre "mint", which im hoping is true so i can just bolt them up and you could never tell! He charged me 350 for both doors, which is a little pricey as other junkyards charge 75-125 a door, but both for 350 IF* they are mint saves me a lot of hassle, and I wont have to worry about paint! Oh, and I get to pocket the other 1,100.00.... not bad LOL I'll post some pics when the doors are in(friday)..
Picked up the doors today! Theyre not Mint, but I can work with them. Have to change out the front door panel, as the one on the new door has Passenger Climate control and power seat, while mine has no power seat or climate controll for the pass. side. A few scratches and some paint chipping along the crease, but i'm happy. Matching color doors FTW! I'm making this thread my Official Progress thread and will post pics along the way.

This is as far as the door will open, without opening the front door first

I know, its filthy. Winter FTL! Notice the rear suspension is quite Saggy.

Well a little progress, I pulled the front door panel off the new door, oh man, I haven't been that frustrated in a while. hidden bolts and such. But at least I know what to do when Im taking my good panel off the bad door..
For the older style door panel, there are two bolts hidden behind a light and a third one at the top of the handle. After that, it'* just popping off plastic pieces. Granted, you have to take care of the window pieces and door handle cover, but it shouldn't be too bad.
Yahh i found those 10mm bolts, two were under the seat/window controls, the other two were behind that red dummy light(no bulb) on the inside of the right side of the door panel near the latch.. Hopefully I'll have some more progress tomorrow before/after my college classes, think about painting my Door panels black. Any tips on this? Dont want it to look ghetto..
If you want to paint vinyl black, there are very few right ways to do it. Here'* what I recommend:
Vinyl prep kit:
Eastwood Co. - Vinyl Prep Kit Plastic Prep And Sand Free
Black vinyl paint:
Eastwood Co. - SEM Landau Black Interior Paint
SEM is one of the best things ever. For me, it'* the only way to paint interior pieces.

Thanks for the links man, my interior is currently Ruby Red(maroon) with some black parts(stock), I was thinking of doing the pillars and maybe whole door panels a black color that would look stock, think those products would make a stock appearance??
