Today i picked up the mags and had OEM rubber swapped on to them, took a couple pics....but as usual-no sun It started snowing just after we put back in shop. So just think sparkle as you look at them I guess you can tell I coudlnt hold cam steady and shiver at the same time.

ha ha...I wasn't dissin you...I was really asking! I wasn't into cars back then....come to think of it, I didn't get into them until I became the Head of Household 5 years ago...in the interm, the term "mags" disappeared and I totally forgot about it.

Ya The term came about in my high school years(1970ish) when most aftermarket wheels were Magnesium/aluminum alloys. Hot for the time when all we had before them was chromed factory wheels and baby moon centers.

Like everyone else has said, when you think it can't get better, you find a way to totally raise the bar........I'm so impresssed with how this car came out, that words can't even begin to describe it.

P.*. I still call wheels "Mags." Been a while though, and I wasn't even around until June 1984, so don't feel too bad
