Ok so you had the pipe bent before the mufflers right? which way?

also did the hanger have to be moved as well?

They look good by the way

pipes were bent before the mufflers to have the outlet of the mufflers be more aligned with the bumper cutout. does this explain it?

opposite of what I thought. I was thinking outwards so the outlet pipe would be lined up straighter. unlike our cowbells are now.

once you cut the bells off it doesn't leave much pipe left near the hanger.

I've seen your pics of the tips alone and they did not have much of a pipe to connect/weld to. did he have to add any there as well?

first he welded a length of pipe to the tips to give him something to work with. pictured here:

then he cut off the cowbells, and welded on the new tips. You can see how the line of the exhaust isnt perfect. it goes from the stock curve to the straight piece of pipe. I am not sure if he changed the hangers at all, but if he did, it was minimal.

I would love to get pics from underneath again to compare.

he probably bent them though.

Here is a video. Yes, the exhaust is raspy, that'* what happened when the headers went on.

What shop did you got to? There used to be one in North Mankato that did great work for less than most other shops.

Very nice. You're still running without a center reflector eh?

I gotta work on mine/yours since I put too much RTV on it.
