Default Coolest mod yet....for those with the digital EGR
My EGR cover broke......so I'm working on it right now. I could have got a new one or a wrecker part for cheap, but I figured I'd have some fun with this one. I laser-welded it back together at work, then JB welded for extra strength (from underneath).

I'm painting it with the same 'cast metal' paint I used on my SC cover (Plasti-kote Cast Finish, 500°), and made some stencils out of avery label paper.

I know, the suspense sucks, but I'll post pics as I go through it.

Got the roatation a little off, but it was a broken cover to start with. I'll order a new one, and get it better:

Looks great Will...but what do you think about the removal of the EGR itself...I am trying to determine if this is a viable mod...?

Looks nice Will! Good idea! And it definitely looks better painted the silver like your SC cover.
