Someone had to have noticed that I haven't shown any pics of the switches to turn on and off the lights. Well, thats because I just finished doing that right now.
This morning I went to the junk yard, and lucky for me, there are a ton of bonnevilles in my junk yard So I got a new plastic piece that goes right behind the shifter. Went to radio shack and got a pair of switches and a pair of green bulbs. Drilled 4 holes, and TADA \/\/
Installed w/o the lights on:
And then with the lights on:
So, now the project is complete, until I get some for the back seat ....
Just FYI though, the second switch in the pannel is going to be for some other lights that are going to be visable outside the car.

Wow, that looks good. How long did the wiring of the switches take you? I would like to do some switches like that for when i get my angel eyes.

Just the wiring of the switches took way longer than it should have . I have...self diagnosed ADD, so I don't stay on task very long :? j/k But I do a lot of different stuff while doing projects like this, so it took like 2 hours or just a bit more.
I don't think it would have taken quite as long if I had a soldering iron. Right now all of my connections are just twisted and taped up real good.
If you want a wiring diagram including the "indicator lights" I will do one up real quick for you. Its quite simple really.
