Default Car is done!!!

Well, here is the finished product!
I bought the wife a 99 bonneville SSEI a monh or so back, and got some used body panels, P-side door, fender, hood and bumper, and grill, and did all the prep work, priming, and painting all my self!, first time doing this, I had somone watching over my shoulder, but I did everything on my own, but mix the paint!lol, I still have to get the p-side badge on and the pinstripe, and it will be completely done!
OH, and I also found a set of brand new Fuzion 215 60 16 tires for $35 a peice from my local salvager, they had just come in on a wrecked car that had just had new tires put on!lol, the hardest part of the whole project was taking all the rivets off, then lacoting the spots for the new ones, since the fender and door were from an SSE, not a SSEI!, differnt body panels!, but it was a great experiance, and I even impressed the expert body man up town!!!!
here you go!
Dark blue metallic!!!!

Good job, I would remove the pin stripe on the drivers side instead of replacing the passenger?

I agree, it looks good on the SE, but on the mono-color SSEi it looks weird and out of place. Maybe you can paint it, and while your at it paint the grill silver.

Yeah I never see Blue SSEi'* around here. I didn't even realize they made them in blue until I came to this forum. 96 to 99 SSEis in my area are rare, but the few you do see are all that magenta/cranberry/purple-ish color.

thanks guys, we are really happy with the car, as far as the grill goes, I painted it also, but didnt want to deal with the paint comming off of the chrome trim in a year or 3, piant never sticks to chrome when you want it to, very long!, LOL,plus, the grill looks alright to me!, and the wife, dont know the diff!! the pinstripe we decided,is gonna come off totally!, this car frickin hauls ***!!!, after I got the wiring harness for the tranny all figured out,{I went to a auto specailist, and bought a wiring diagram for $5. I rewired th new plugin and it runs awsome!!!
also forgot to mention those are centerline rims that came with the car,
In total, I hate to admit to this, but I have just under $2000 stuck into this car all together counting purchase!!!! and I just sold my wifes old 92 SE for $1600!!!!! new car is already basically paid for!!!!

Welcome to the $2000 Bonneville club! My 94'* a member. You have done an awesome job with the painting! I was going to ask about the wheels, so thanks for posting that. I've never seen those before, but they look cool. Just because you mentioned that, I went to Google and found Centerline'* site. Wow! Never even knew...
