Weird question, but does the gap seem to let the engine run any cooler? Also, I too vote to clear the corners again. They need it.

Jim, I am glad you and your car are ok. At first I thought maybe someone backed into your car with a truck. It sucks that its your fault but I am still glad to see her back in one piece. on a side note...Happy New Year!

Jim my name is Lee. The thought of coming back to MA for a meet would be the biggest treat in the world. I have been home sick for so long and every time somebody from MA posts on here I get that itch to bring it on home. I would be honored to meet you, boosty and anyone else that would be there. there is nobody better than Newenglanders with Bonnies. GO PATS!

I did this same stupid thing with my CRX , only I was moving much slower and hit a handicap van. No damage whatsoever on either car, but I felt like such a tool. You must have been accelerating pretty good, eh? Whaddya got for a throttle on that thing, Jim? A toggle switch?

Glad you got her back on the road, that is one NICE looking car - I've always liked the Gumbymobile.

I forgot to mention, I did this once back in college when I was getting on a street from the highway off ramp. It was with a WHITE Cougar no less. I hit a car with the passenger corner of mine and put a nice crumple in the fender.
