Braded SS Fuel Lines
22 Attachment(s)
since i have installed the PRJ Fuel Rails, my Stock Nylon Fuel Lines have been routed in ways that would make you cry. Not to mention when GM built my car they decided to put the engine cover in a manner that pinched the nylon lines and make a small kink in the supply line....
anyway here are the pics of how the nylon lines were routed the return came out of the regulator and very close to the firewall Attachment 26976 Attachment 26977 and the supply sucked even more. It actually went over the TB:mad: Attachment 26978 Attachment 26979 Time for the Braded to go on Parts: Attachment 26980 Attachment 26981 Attachment 26982 Hard line Fittings Attachment 26983 one is 3/8 the other is 5/16 Attachment 26984 SS line fittings Attachment 26985 PRJ Regulator and Line fittings Attachment 26986 so the cutting began, and since i have a ton of room in the engine bay, and the lines come up the entire way up the firewall i decided that i would cut the lines where the nylon started Attachment 26987 so once the line is cut you can install the hard line fittings Attachment 26988 Then measure the length you want and the routing you desire, and make your lines Attachment 26989 Attachment 26990 as you can see i used the Annodized Blue/Red Fittings down low on the car so they would match and then the Annodized Black up at the rail so that they would also match the PRJ fittings. Attachment 26991 the 90* is the return the straight is the supply. Attachment 26992 and the final product Attachment 26993 Attachment 26994 Attachment 26995 Attachment 26996 Attachment 26997 |
Looks good. Did you get your buddy that extra straight fitting?
looks good, nice job thanks for sharing

Nice Pat, I kinda beat you to the writeup on that one lol, those Summit parts really help and it was nice that I could actually go pick them up
ya Frank, i have had my PRJ's since mid summer, and just havent got time to do the lines
I'm still running stock rails that were modified by me for the SS M90, I actually had to do the braided lines to stop a leak at the supply connector, it was a mess until that
Very well done. Looks much better now.
