I was thinking the exact same thing...... nice rides, and one of my two favorite Bonneville colors(the other being midnight blue).

I need to get pics up close, but I swear when I wash it the paint is scratched in another place than before. Today I found like 4 lines going down the fender that looks like water dripped down but its like a bunch of white dots that wont come off. ALL the touch-up paint is coming off that the previous owner put on, theres a dent in the hood from a rock, paint behind the wheels has ton of more chips in them than before (maybe its me but you can barely tell so that doesn't really matter) and a few other things. My dad was going to get a few parts repainted but now its leaking oil since we got the pan gasket replaced, and they attempted to fix it once already, so it will have to go back again. And he says hes not throwing any money into a leaker so who know if it will ever get fixed. Maybe its just me since I'm a perfectionist and every little scratch drives me crazy.

that 98 really looks like an SLE with the ECC and the 7 band....have you checked yet
