Well, today was the big day. I left the house with all of my cameras and 199,920-something miles for a drive into Brooklyn. On the way home, while cruising up I-684 in Katonah, NY, I grabbed all of my cameras and pointed them at the dashboard.
That 1 and I have been through so much together, but now it'* time to say goodbye.

Here comes 2! (It wouldn't be in place until 200,001 miles, which is much less picturesque.)

What better way to celebrate a milestone than a coin-operated, self-serve car wash? It'* safer than pouring some Jack Daniels into my oil.

Classy!

I'm sure the GM Forum peanut gallery will have a field day by seeing my pink Bonneville. More so because I swear this soap was bubblegum-scented.

All nice and clean. The ride home dried it off nicely.

I guess my car is officially over the hill now. In fact, I think I saw a gray spark plug under the hood.

Speaking of which, when I was about to hit 150,000 miles, my roommate asked me if I was going anywhere to celebrate. I told him I wasn't. Then he said something like, "Then again, I have a Ford."
