For fun last winter, a friend and I got a beater stuck in snow and tried to drive it out. Practice, you know. We found the best way to get out is with a large sheet of plastic because the cracks it gets from the car'* weight help give it traction in the snow like nothing else we could find. Just FWI.
We used the front of a very aged server case, and it had about 3-4 uses in it before it "disappeared" into the snow.

Also, I second the Photoshop plea. I'd like either a yellow shaft and some evidence of pushing or the thing everyone else is cheering for.
