my first project for bonne spring break 2005...... it will be to modify the back deck of my SLE to accomidate the SSE/SSEi rear speaker grilles. The SSE/SSEI rear deck is slightly differnt that the SE/SLE rear deck, the speaker grilles are much bigger and reqire some cutting pics to come for anyone who wants the 8 speaker system with the rear tweets

Man just the look of the tweeter/woofer grill in your back window will make it worth the trouble!

what kind of speakers are you going to put in?

ya its not really trouble at all putting them in, the rear deck is made out of some link of fiberboard that is not really that strong, so cutting will not ba a problem

i will have component Type RF tweets and a 6.5" midbass. The tweets will fit in the grilles and i will modify the 6x9 plate to accept a 6.5" midbass

get lots of pics cuz i plan on doing the same thing so make a tutorial(sp) for other who want to do the same.
