Actually, I'm a geek when it comes to music. I just had to do a Google search to find out what/who the Troggs were. So, thanks, you've expanded my horizons.

When I bought a new EScow in 1989 I was searching for a name... my daughter (yes, my 20'* something daughter) suggested Wildthing... which I thought was really appropriate since an EScow is a fast, hot rod sail boat that dumps you in the drink and goes turtle when you make a mistake. At that point I had never heard the song ( I said I was square) and had no idea of the subject matter.... Needless to say my education was fast once the name was painted on the stern.

On the fun side, when kids come along side in taxi boats to take us to shore at regattas, you can almost count on them to be singing Wildthing... and the last several years my sailing club has managed to have it blasting on the sound system when we go up for trophies.

So, yeah, my wife bought me a jacket with Wildthing across the back, for Valentines day she got me a Gorrila that sings Wildthing... I have mentioned that I am retired and 68 haven't I? See, ya really don't have to grow up.
