I have it on my 2003 Malibu, basically when it is really slipery out you can shift into second and when you go to pull away from a stop it will start in 2nd not first so you have less chance of tire spin and more chance of traction.

That is all it does. Anoying if you tend to downshift when you are stopping fast then go to take off but leave it in second, you step on the gas and it just crawls away. Test it out and you will see what I mean.
Thanks man! I will check it out!

As for our local window tint laws....there is a NO window tint policy in RI..
But I may be able to get away with %35 on the rear and 2 rear side..but not on the
driver and passenger....errrr

Nice find!! I love those style GP'*. And that color is gorgeous! I'd rather have that GP than that white SSEi that was all cracked to hell (unless I got it for very cheap or had a lot of money to fix it). Good find and great deal for $2500! Have fun with her.

One thing I can't figure out is why they mounted the license plate to the side like that. I've seen several like that here. I'm guessing because if it was in the center it would cut down on the air going to the radiator. But I'd rather take the front license plate off all together. I haven't gotten hassled for doing it here.

Again, nice car!
