"So, today I'm going to get my brother and a friend from another friends house in the ritzy area of the Kingsway in Etobicoke (between my city of 'ssaua and Toronto). I missed their house and assumed it was another place. I spotted a black BMW way up in front of this HUGE house. Now, bear in mind I had never been to this place.

Rich ppl seem to have issues with posting clear address numbers on their properties, so I drive up this snow covered winding driveway. No problem going up....get to the top. Not the right house. So...back down the driveway.....slowly, noticed the car sliding. Now on either sides of this drive is a big drop so...dammit I crane the wheel to the right to get the back end to swing away and centre myself back onto the drive.

Park the car, hop out. My driver side tire is completely turned in the right position. Nice...I notice a decorative light pole..very close to my tire...not nice. Can't go forward...to slippy...can't straighten the wheel or I lose my car down the slope....not a good feeling, I assess the situation. Rub the lamp pole and scrape the fender..or lose my car.

So I slowly begin to back out and sure enough...

ssscccrrrrapppppeeeee

DAMNIT...effin thing...

Get to the bottom of the drive..run up assess the pole...no damage. My car, 6'x6' indent above my front left tire. Nice goiuge where a screw head rubbed. Effin thing..

So I drive to a family friends house who has a body shop. Its repairable, and I get a new coating of pearl white paint on my fender
You obviously need to hang out with a lower class of people. To be honest, I have never gotten so much as a door ding when parked in front of a house trailer!

Jim needs to come to my end of town. Nothing to worry about, even when you park on the street...

... except that one time my mom got distracted... and hit a mid 90'* BMW 320i sedan with a 1985-spec (read: BIG honkers) Toyota bumper while backing out of the driveway. Left a little ding where the bumper and 1/4panel meet, but no scratches... gave the guy across the street a cheque for $400, and we went on our way :P

But then again, my area is hmm, lower middle to middle middle class? With looower ghetto class a block or two away? :P

Glad to hear it'* getting fixed so soon! I just hope you won't be able to tell it was damaged after it gets fixed. That dent looks bad.
