Announcing the arrival......
Brand new to the family, to compliment the existing 2000 ssei, is this:
Long story shorter, this was added as of friday. I needed a car for the 16 year old. Obviously, a full size car that will protect him, has dual airbags, and gets reasonable gas milage led me to a Bonneville.
A SSEI was out, due to insurance reasons, and goading a (responsible)16 year old with a supercharger sounded like a bad idea.
But a nice1997, 40th anniversary, with leather interior, in pretty damn good shape would work. (As well as matching the existing silver 2000)
The kid is out in South Dakota, working on the family farm, so hasn't even see it yet. Was going to make him clean it, but i couldn't stand to see it dirty.
Warshed her up, and claybared the top surfaces....and WILL make the kid finish the claybar, and apply a couple coats of LG. This thing was dirty, but well taken care of.....here'* a shot of the hood, just clayed:
It'* titled to me, so if he doesn't take care of it, I'm taking it back. (He'* pretty good about this sort of thing.)
More pictures of the pair of Bonne;* (both silver, so should look good) will be posted next weekend.
I would also anticipate that Freddi Jr will be joining the forum very soon.

Ahhh, but in Minnesota, with all our screwed up insurance rules, your talking about the difference of about $50 a month, for liability ONLY. (For a 16 year old boy)
Nice SE prevails.
