"No, I'm not gonna put parts on the SLE to increase power"

Did you happen to check the bypass hole in the gasket for any gaps?

No wikoff gaps. I checked all 3 new gaskets here and the two used ones. Some FelPro, some AC Delco.

Drove the SSEi to work this morning with the slicks (only a couple mile commute). Mold marks and 'nubbins' are almost gone. Label goo is totally gone. Almost ready for the track now.

These things don't like to track straight. They grab any imperfection in the road, and want to go that way. They stick really well, fight steering inputs, but don't like to corner hard. WAY too much sidewall flex (by design).

I'm very impressed in how sticky they are on dry-clean pavement, even at 25psi.

Lifter valley is getting the seafoam treatment right now. The good news is that there'* no sludge. It'* pretty much just a color change.

How many Bonnevilles are in that pic? It'* not three.

I just road-tested the car. Had to run Katie back to her Mom'* house at lunch. Hooked up the scantool for the run over the hill. 75°F ambient, 0° of KR at WOT and through all shifts. And it hasn't even had time to LEARN yet. I need to do some hotter scans. But it looks INITIALLY like the same thing this setup did on the Zilla. Immediate decrease in pulley diameter. And I don't even have PEM'* on this car yet (granted the S1 manifolds flow better than the S2 to begin with).

I may be in the un-enviable position of NOT having TWO 2.2" pulleys this year, and both cars wanting them. :?

Fricking car is a rocket.
