Interesting. I don't think it is possible though for my crosslaces to ever look like that. My rims get SO hot when I drive. Snow would melt I will probably make a post complaining about it in the 92-99 board sometime this week.

Nah it won't melt, turns to ice and then proceeds to became really f'ing impossible to remove.

I don't think you have felt my rims after I have driven awhile. They seriously will burn your hand.
