Well per a suggestion i timed the 0-70mph run from the video i posted.... and using the video editing program, I have 6.25 seconds from the frame just before the launch to the frame he lets off the GO pedal at 70 mph!!!!
this is only a little slower than a 99 Corvette or an 04 Subaru WRX STi!!!!!
and since the corvet ran 13.6 in the 1/4 and the WRX STi ran 13.2 I think it'* safe to say we have a 13 second W-body sleeper on our hands with less than $2000 total investment!
not bad fer Redneck/Lowbuck Hotroddin!
Cant wait to turbocharge the rear 3800!

Get 550hp and 700lb of torque and you would have quite the car.

whats up Hans...
yeah twin L67'* would be cool but we are going more for twin 3800'* both Turbocharged!
and thats if we dont get a cheap donor Caddy with a 4.9L V8! then that would be going into the back and being Turbocharged!
C ya around at the OldsConnection....

heheheh Al and I just ordered the new 10 point cage for the 94 Cutlass 442 from JEGS!
GM 1988-96 Grand Prix/Century/Cutlass FWD
550-943104K
10-Point Roll Bar Kit $219.99
10 and 12 point roll cages manufactured from 1-5/8'' x .134-wall mild steel tubing
Includes 6'' x 6'' x 1/8'' mounting plates
Some tube ends in some kits are notched while most tube ends are not notched for a better custom fit in your particular set-up. This ''extra material'' provides you some leeway for a great fit and easier installation.
8, 10, and 12 point cages exceed NHRA and IHRA standards
Complete, easy-to-follow installation instructions included
Welding required (DUH!) hehe!
This is a pic of a 12pt cage our ten pt one doesnt have the top of dash to floor(behind seat) downbars that make the X at the drivers/passengers door......or the fiewall to front subframe bars that are in the pic (waiting fer another 3800 before we go doing that.....)

Thanx! she will be full tilt when done...
Sat I go to the Jefferson Swapmeet in WI fer stuff for My Nova! then Sunday it'* off to the Hammond IN U-pick-a-part for stuff fer the cutlass and I will be doing research on my SI and SII hybrid 3800 project!
once I find outabout that stuff then everything gets worked over and this winter when the Turbo goes on the SII top end will go on also....
then we will just have to focus on getting a 3800 fer the front engine bay....
