he just scored johnF'* old IS3 heads and cam and just needs the A1000 pump and -8 lines to go with the -8 rails and aeromotive afpr. not to mention that 80e lol
damn bastards making me jealous

did some fitment of the SLP headers with the 80e...turns out the PS headers will have no fitment issues, the slp'* however are crap lol

since this is a 3.11 geared 80e we'll be slicing the selector shaft cutdown and the arm welded on. the range switch will be relocated onto the shifter itself

hell the way it'* going GM planned on us nutjobs putting the 1 ton fwd trans behind the 3800'*

Awesome pics! What a great project!

That TB is huge but the machining on the intake side of the TB looks rough, might just be the flash.

yes there are small ridges from the cnc machining looks sexy as is

the whippled riv is soon getting is3 heads and cam but currently has a vs cam and stg2 ic (mechanical ic pump) ps headers, external PCV plumbing with an oil seperator, and a few other little things it'll be getting the 80e swapped in along with the aeromotive pump.

regarding the 80e mounts/axles
the mounts will be 4 corner solid motor plates 4bolts done...
the axles look like we'll be able to use certain allante axles but i need to find one in a Jyard for fitment testing but ill get that taken care of once it'* in, i have a guy harlow with a spline roller if i need something custom

You guys are amazing. I read through this thread for the 1st time and am blown away!! On the outside it looks just like any Olds Cutlass but holy cow, inside and underneath a whole 'nother ballgame!! Keep up the amazing work. What do your families think??

Ok Boosty!! Its your turn. Get yourself another SSEi and pull the engine and suspension out of it and put it in the trunk of your car and have an SSEii
