Default 2003 SSEi Project

Hey there,

This is the project that kept me busy this past winter. I bought two wrecked Bonnys....a 2001 SLE and a 2003 SSEi. It was a shame to pick the SLE apart but it gave me most what I needed to get the SSEi in order and also provided a pile of nice parts for my wifes 2001 SE daily driver. Whatever was left over, I stuffed up into my barn for future use.

The SSEi needed a front bumper cover, nose support, condenser, cradle, left axle, struts, one wheel, tires, left fender, left door w/ mirror, handle and all the trim, rocker molding, rear bumper cover, and a bunch of other small parts and pieces. It was pretty filthy inside as well due to the fact that the insurance company decided to use it for a dumpster. Whatever the dude hit....he hit hard enough to rip the left lower control arm right off the cradle and swing the wheel up into the door and fender.

At this point, I am waiting for the NYS DMV to approve my new salvage title. Major pain. I will do some performance mods in the future but figure I better wait until I get that title before I start dropping some bigger bucks into the car. Well, let me know what you think. Take care.....

Thanks for the kind words. I do love my Bonnevilles. Check out the one pic with the 2001 heading in to get stripped. You can see my green 95 SE (daily ride) with another green 93 behind it stuffed with metal. I bought that parts car from a guy that got T-boned in the D-door. A couple weeks later Bambi comitted suicide with my car. I strapped half of the clip onto my ride and didn't even have to paint it to match. Now that was some good luck shinin' on me!
