Bonnevilles can be powerful, but it takes alot to make them powerful. What I beleive BonneMe was getting at is the sbc 350 has way more potential than the 3800 becuase of the almost overwhelming aftermarket.
For example, with $3500 well invested dollar I could build a 383 stroker with LT4 heads and hot cam, 1.7 rockers and possibly get into the 11s not to mention the 4000 curb weight?
