For me, the late '70s early '80s boxes did nothing for me. As a child of the '60s, there was a loss of design that was the ealry '60s (think 1961 Caddy or '59 Impala) that disappeared by 1978. CAD systems could only manage straight lines, so that is how the designs were created. There are a few exceptions, but the Bonnie, Parisian and siblings just didn't do it for me. Even the Caddies of the day had little going for them on the outside. Now, the inside of cars from that era were fantastic, cushy living rooms!
