No silly Bonne sits on 17" SSC 40s

Im not a big fan of chrome rims especially factory chrome.....Im in the tire bizz and have seen too many get "chrome cancer".....plus the more unsprung weight the slower the car. But the Bonne tq stars are 16X7 with 225/60/16 Dunlop Sport A2 H-rated tires and the Bui rims are 16x6.5 with 225/60/16 Bridgestone Weatherforce *-rated tires....The Bonne tires bite better and have a little more width therefore offset and make the car handle better.

However once the dollas start rollin back in after the Bonne project is threw the Bui will likely get some 17" Motegi DPKs in gunmetal with some 235/55/17 Kumho KH11s (same tires on tha Bonne) I LOVE THOSE TIRES!!!!!!!

At this point, I'd settle for a nice SSEi with ANY rim type

Put your favorite tire cleaning/gloss on the tires then post a picture. The rims look nice but the dull tires take a lot away from the look. Your car is sweet.

THANK YOU!! That was exactly what I was going to suggest. The colors of the Buick are smooth and dark and sleek. . . The current wheels or even chromed ones are gonna be way to garish for the rest of the car. I was gonna say either high gloss black wheels or gunmetal. The brighter wheel is just too distracting for my tastes.

Is that rim on the right the Kazera KZV wheel? If so I was looking into those in the light grey finish, I think they look pretty mean....Look up the Motegi DPK....I was thinking 17s with gunmetal finish to match the grey undertone.......I would have shined up the tires but I ran outta time before work :? ......but wouldnt 17s take away from sort of the sleeper look......Im debating this right now..cause I want this car to be my sleeper.

Two pictures for ya.

The rear wheel is the TireRack offered Buick Regal Kazera KZ-V wheel, the front is the 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE Kazera KZ-V wheel in silver, not chromed.

The front wheel is a horrid photo chop of the Motegi DPK, and the rear is the Bonneville KZ-V. That was the only picture I could find of the gunmetal Motegi and the quality turned to crap when I resized it in Photoshop.
