Default $180 Dollar Oil Change

So I went to checker this evening to get stuff to change my oil tonight before I go out of town tommorw. So I walk in, decided to try out the K&N oil filter, $10....Great Oil Pressure improvement. Pick up 5 quarts of Valvoline 10-40 Dura blend, $3 a quart...No big deal.....Then i decided I hate taking my oil plug out all the time....So I picked up that fram plug and hose deal....Looks like it should work rather nice....$15. Starting to get a lil price. Then I found myself in the head light isle.....Found silverstars, ended up gettin highs lows and fogs....Highs and lows...$47 a pair ($47 x 2) and the fogs were $40 a pair. Then the guy workin talked me into this Meguiars plastic compound for lenses, $10. God I just can't go in those kinda stores anymore...I'm not gonna be able to afford to live if this keeps up......hahaha Anyone else have a problem with goin to the parts star and getting a bunch of stuff you really don't need?

But I do find the the SilverStars were well worth there money, and that meguiars stuff works WONDERS on the lenses.

Heh I once went to a parts store for a switch. I walked out with a water pump, a 180 thermo, a front transmission mount, a bag of rags and all the gaskets and solvents to complete the jobs. Whatever you do, Don't go into one of those places bored!

180? Thats nothing. It gets bad when it starts tallying up near the 1000 range.

I was all ready to do brembo'* ceramic pads etc.... Shipping for brembos was about 70 bux.... I can get two premium OEM rotors for that price so no....

I can't wait to do my oil now with my fram sure drain..... Heck you could almost do it in a parking lot then I think...

Thats how I do it every time! I find about $200 worth of things that I want, and buy the $3 worth that I can afford.
